MIRA

The MIRA open-back banjo features a radiused fingerboard which enhances playability and intonation up the neck. Fitted with OME’s Vintage brass tone ring, the MIRA is ideal for Melodic and finger-style players requiring ease of fretting and enhanced intonation. Our Vintage brass tone ring and 11” 2-ply solid rim produce our clearest, brightest sounding Old-timey banjo. For a warmer, deeper tone, a 12″ rim fitted with OME’s 5/16″ rolled brass tone ring is optional. Select Cherry tone woods or optional Black Walnut and Curly Maple, our classic Abalone and Mother-Of-Pearl shell inlays in the peghead, fingerboard, and heel cap, and meticulous fretwork and setup make the Mira an exceptional instrument for the demanding player.
