FRETLESS TUPELO

The OME FRETLESS TUPELO BANJO is our warmest-sounding and most adjustable Old-Time banjo. Our popular 12″ “Tone Rim” with 14 brackets matched with our fretless 5-string Old-Time banjo neck together produce an earthy 19th-century sounding banjo. The fretless Ebony fingerboard allows players to slide, bend and hammer effortlessly and the bridge can be changed and moved to enhance tone and playability. Like other models in our Old-Time series, this model has our slightly shorter and wider 5-string banjo neck with our S-scoop fingerboard and two-way adjustable truss rod. The 12″ 2-ply Tone-Rim is 9/16” thick and is capped with black Ebonite and double-bound with simulated Tortoise shell. A varnish finish is hand-rubbed generously and then sealed. The FRETLESS TUPELO is made with the same care and precision as other OME instruments and comes complete with our plush-lines hard-shell case and Limited Lifetime Warranty.
